Wray Common School

Ongoing partnership

We are delighted to have been working with Wray Common School a Primary based in Reigate for 5 years now. They have a covered 15 metre pool in their grounds and all year groups swim year round.

We also offer two days of After School clubs for General Instruction. Life Saving, Personal Survival and Synchronised swimming. Children from Wray Common frequently join other half term and holiday classes with other Swimsense children. There is an inter house Gala at the school in the Summer term as well as an invitational Gala to other Redhill and Reigate schools during this term.

This term, Becki, Annabel and Nicki will be covering all the curriculum swimming with Nicki covering the After School Clubs. I will of course be in lots of times to see everyone! We very much hope that this will become another Swimsense success and are working closely with the staff and parents at the school to provide all their swimming needs. Any queries from parents may come through the Swimsense website and will be dealt with as quickly as possible by me!

All bookings must be made by form or email to Parents must attend with all Reception and Key Stage 1 children. KS2 children should be collected at the end of their class. Payments are made directly to Emma Miller at Swimsense, either via the office or by direct banking. updated 26th March 2018

North Downs Primary School

Ongoing partnership

We continue to work closely with North Downs Primary in Brockham in their lovely covered 12 metre pool. Swimsense teaches all their curriculum swimming for Years 3-6 and additionally the school runs, toddlers and babies through a well established Baby Swim company. In line with the National Curriculum the Year 6 children also receive targeted sessions towards the end of the summer term on Personal survival and water safety skills. A inter house Gala is run in the Sprig term.

Thursday: After School Club for ALL YEAR GROUPS FROM ALL SITES Taught by Annabel Woodham this club is split into ability groups.

Saturday: Private and small group lessons with Emma and Hannah

St Matthews Primary, Redhill

Ongoing Partnership

We continue to work closely with St Matthews School in Redhill a through Primary with a Special Needs Unit. Lessons are offered to all Year 3,4,5 and 6 children, as well as the Special Needs children, year round at Doynings Leisure Centre in Redhill. Classes are on a Wednesday and all children are split into ability groups to ensure directed instruction.

Year 6 children receive instruction in Personal Survival and Life Saving techniques at the end of the Summer term.
