About Swimsense

Emma Miller

Emma Miller, originally studied at Bedford College of Physical Education, B.Ed, and is a A.S.A Level 2 teacher with additional qualifications in Adult and Child teaching (Level 2), National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Renewed in December 2011), National Rescue Test for Teachers and Coaches (January 2014) Child Protection (renewed in January 2013) and is a qualified First Aider.

Teachers

All teachers employed are also Level 2, or Level 1 under guidance and mentoring. All are insured with the Institute of Swimming Teachers. We aim, as much as possible for consistency to create a good relationship between the children and the teachers.

Our teachers are identified by their white shirts (often wet!) or blue polo shirts and can offer feedback about the lesson and answer any queries you may have about your childs progress. We are well aware that some children bond better with one teacher more than others but in keeping with school and other club classes, some change is good. We will always aim to maintain a teacher with a class throughout a term, however there are some inevitable changes through illness or holidays.
